The only High School Equivalency exam prep built for emergent bilingual adult learners.
Verónica is your AI tutor in English and Spanish, switching whenever you need her to. AI-scored Extended Response on the official GED® rubric. 2,300+ expert-verified practice questions across all four GED® Test subjects. No other GED® prep app does any of this. None of them do all four.
What is the GED® Test?
The GED® Test (General Educational Development) is the most widely recognized high school equivalency credential in the United States. It has four subject tests, taken separately at your own pace: Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA), Science, and Social Studies. Passing all four earns you a state-issued credential equivalent to a high-school diploma, accepted by employers, the military, and colleges. Each subject is scored 0-200, with 145 to pass, 165 for “College Ready,” and 175 for “College Ready + Credit.”
Who this app is for
This app was designed with emergent bilingual adult learners in mind. If your stronger language is Spanish and you would benefit from being able to ask questions and have concepts explained in your first language, this app is built for you. The questions on the actual GED® Test are in English, and so is your practice here. The bilingual support is what helps you understand the trickier parts on your way there.
Meet Verónica, your bilingual AI tutor
Verónica is at the heart of this app. She is an AI tutor, available 24/7, who speaks both English and Spanish and switches naturally between them. Stuck on linear equations? Ask her in English; she answers in English. Still not clicking? Ask her again in Spanish; she explains in Spanish. The questions on the real test will be in English, and so is your practice. Verónica is the comprehension scaffold that bridges the gap.
You can also ask Verónica to define a key word, restate a question in plainer English, or walk through a concept step by step in either language. If a vocabulary word is what’s blocking you on a reading passage, ask her what it means in Spanish, then read the passage again. That is the kind of help that actually moves your score.
She does not give you the answer. She is a tutor, not a calculator. She asks the right questions to help you find the answer yourself, the way a strong older sibling would. That is the only kind of help that actually moves your test score.
What you get
- 2,300+ pre-verified practice questions across all 4 GED® subjects: Mathematical Reasoning (algebraic + quantitative), Reasoning Through Language Arts (reading, sentence editing, passage revision, Extended Response), Science (life, physical, earth and space), and Social Studies (civics, US history, economics, geography). Every question was produced by one advanced AI model, independently re-solved by a second AI model, screened through a distractor-quality reviewer with named-misconception discipline, and verified for GED alignment before it could be served. No questions are generated for you on the fly.
- Verónica, your bilingual AI tutor, on every page. Ask her anything in English or Spanish. Switch languages whenever it helps.
- AI Extended Response scoring on the same 3-trait rubric the real GED® Test uses (analysis of arguments, development of ideas, conventions). Detailed feedback in seconds.
- Data stimulus support across Science and Social Studies. Charts, tables, primary-source quotes, political cartoons, and maps render inline, just like the real test.
- GED®-specific calculator policy. Math Part 1 is no-calculator (first 5 items); Part 2 gives you the on-screen TI-30XS. Practice the same way you’ll test.
- Formula sheet always available on math practice, exactly like test day.
- A 21-question diagnostic that pinpoints exactly which of the 15 strands across all 4 subjects you should focus on. No guessing.
- A mistake notebook that groups every wrong answer by error type, so you can stop repeating the same mistakes.
- Strand-by-strand progress tracking across all 4 subjects. See in plain language where you are “Strong,” “Getting There,” and “Needs Practice,” and what to do next.
- About 27 hours of focused learning when you follow the recommended path. Heavy users invest more.
- Mobile-first design. Practice from your phone on the bus, at home, or between work shifts.
Designed around the GED® Test passing thresholds
Every practice activity, diagnostic question, and progress signal in this app is calibrated to the GED Testing Service score thresholds: 145 to pass, 165 for College Ready, 175 for College Ready + Credit. Your “Practice Progress” panel shows you, strand by strand, how close you are to consistent performance at each level. We do not promise scores. The GED® Test is administered by GED Testing Service and the result depends on you. What we promise is honest practice and feedback aligned to the same standards the test uses.
Verified question bank, plus AI where it actually helps
This app is built on a simple idea: the questions you practice with should be solid before you ever see them, and the help you get when you struggle should be smart and patient.
Your practice questions are pre-built and verified. We do not generate them on the fly while you wait. Our bank holds 2,300+ questions across all 4 GED® subjects: math (algebraic and quantitative), RLA (reading, editing, revision), science (life, physical, earth and space), and social studies (civics, US history, economics, geography). Every single item was produced by one advanced AI model, independently re-solved by a second AI model, screened by a distractor-quality reviewer that scores each wrong answer for plausibility against named misconceptions, and verified for GED alignment by a third reviewer. Anywhere two reviewers found a second defensible answer or a weak distractor, the item was rewritten or retired. What is left is what you practice with: questions where the right answer is the right answer, with explanations that hold up, and where every wrong answer reflects a specific misconception a real student might make.
AI runs live in two places, and only where it helps you most:
- Verónica, your bilingual AI tutor. She is available on every page, ready to coach you through a problem, explain a concept, or review a mistake. She works in English and Spanish; switch when you need to. She never gives you the answer during practice, because that wouldn’t help you on test day. She walks you toward it.
- Extended Response scoring. When you submit a GED®-style Extended Response essay, our AI scores it on the same 3-trait rubric the actual GED® Test uses, in seconds. Every essay is graded twice and the scores reconciled, so what you see is steady and honest. You get a 0-6 holistic score, trait-by-trait breakdown, specific strengths, areas to work on, and a recommendation for what to practice next.
This is a deliberate split. Pre-verified questions for what should be reliable. AI for what benefits from real-time judgment.
Access duration
