In particular, we want to highlight a feature that has recently become available to all users: Artifacts.
Perplexity AI is a next-generation AI-powered search engine that stands out by offering a conversational and interactive way of delivering information. Unlike traditional search engines, which typically provide a list of links, Perplexity AI directly answers your questions with well-rounded responses that include citations and links to the original sources. This approach not only saves time but also ensures that the information provided is reliable and easily verifiable.
For emergent bilingual students, mastering academic language is crucial not only for achieving academic success but also for ensuring their ability to navigate various linguistic contexts. Explicit language instruction, particularly tiered vocabulary instruction, has proven to be an effective method in helping these students internalize complex language structures. However, traditional resources sometimes fall short of providing the level of customization needed to address the unique challenges faced by bilingual learners. This is where emerging AI tools, like Twee, come into play, offering innovative solutions that cater specifically to the needs of these students.
Recently, I had the privilege of conducting a couple of presentations for teachers, focusing on how we can harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance bilingual education. These sessions were not only informative but also an opportunity to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of educational technology and its impact on our daily work as educators.
