English as a Second Language Supplemental Exam

English as a Second Language Supplemental Exam
This preparation course for the English as a Second Language Supplemental Exam (154) is for both preservice and inservice Texas teachers. The course modules cover foundational knowledge about ESL theories and current methods used in K-12 classrooms.
You will have access to videos, reading, and printable material in PDF format that you can use to practice for the test. You will be able to apply your knowledge in practical ways with multiple quizzes for the different domains evaluated by the exam.
You will also receive tips and strategies that will allow you to answer quickly and effectively when taking the test. You will receive a certificate signed by the instructor attesting to 18 hours of instruction.

BTLPT Exam (Spanish)
This BTLPT online preparation course will help you get ready for success on the BTLPT exam. You will have access to printable material in PDF format that you can use to practice the different critical aspects that the exam includes. You will review your knowledge in practical ways with short tests available in the modules. You will receive tips and strategies to allow you to write more quickly and effectively and answer oral questions with greater confidence. After completing all the course activities, you will have the opportunity to meet with the instructor and receive specific recommendations in the areas you need to improve to succeed on the exam. In these two meetings, you will receive additional practice activities, and I will be able to answer any questions you might have about the BTLPT.

Accentuation and the practice of the written accent in Spanish
This course has been created to help you learn and practice the use of written orthographic accents in Spanish. Propper use of accentuation is of the utmost importance in both spoken and written Spanish and is usually one of the main challenges faced by those who must take certification exams in Spanish.
Throughout four modules and through the use of practical exercises and simple explanations that model the application of rules and strategies, you will have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to master the use of the written accent. With more than 15 evaluation exercises that include dozens of questions that will allow you to practice your knowledge of the written accent
