How This Course Works

Welcome to Your Core EC-6 Math Exam Prep Course

This course prepares you for the TExES Core Subjects EC-6: Mathematics (Subject Exam 902) with a structured, competency-by-competency approach. Subject Exam 902 is the Mathematics portion of the full TExES Core Subjects EC-6 (391) battery and is required for early childhood through 6th grade certification in Texas.

Recommended Study Approach

4. Review the Key Terms topic for each competency before moving on
5. Complete the Course Review Quiz before attempting the capstone
6. When ready, take the Full Practice Exam under timed conditions

Tip: All 6 competencies sit under a single domain (Mathematics) at 100% of the exam. Competencies 1 through 4 each carry 7 questions, while Competencies 5 and 6 carry 6 questions each. Plan to give every competency dedicated study time.
