What is the Texas placement exam?
The TSIA2 (Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0) is the placement test required by Texas state law for entering most Texas public colleges and universities. It has two sections: Mathematics and ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading, including a written essay). Your scores determine whether you enroll directly in college-level coursework or in developmental education classes first.
Does this course replace the real TSIA2?
No. This is a preparation course. The actual TSIA2 placement exam is administered by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), and only your THECB score determines your college placement. Our app helps you prepare; it does not issue a placement result. Our Certificate of Completion documents that you finished our preparation program; it is not a college-readiness credential.
Does Verónica give me the answer?
